Owing to his sore knees, the Orlando Magic will not have to face All-Star shooting guard Dwyane Wade on Wednesday night when the Miami Heat visit.
Speaking to the media before the game, Heat coach Erik Spoelstra ruled the dynamic guard out of Wednesday's contest. He missed Tuesday's victory against the Atlanta Hawks as well. Three-point specialist James Jones started in Wade's stead that night and will do so again Wednesday.
The Magic aren't at full strength either. Coach Jacque Vaughn said that Glen Davis, Tobias Harris, and Kyle O'Quinn are unavailable for Orlando. Davis and Harris have yet to play in 2013/14, but could be close to returning to game action. O'Quinn will miss his second straight game due to a sprained ankle.
Solomon Jones will be available for the Magic despite having a torn lateral meniscus in his left knee. He missed seven games due to the injury but played in Saturday's loss to the Dallas Mavericks. He hasn't had any setbacks and will be available if Vaughn needs him.
