The Orlando Magic battle the Miami Heat on Wednesday in a matchup of two teams who finished 2012/13 on complete opposite ends of the NBA spectrum. Orlando owned the league's worst record, while Miami went on to win its second consecutive championship.

Tipoff between Orlando and Miami is set for 7:00 PM Eastern on Fox Sports Florida and ESPN 580 AM in Orlando. The Orlando Pinstriped Post GameThread will appear at 5:00 PM in this StoryStream and on the cover.

Orlando's last time out: Turnovers plagued the Magic in their 108-100 loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday, as their 19 miscues led to 22 Dallas points. Arron Afflalo led all scorers with 25 points on 6-of-12 shooting, while Nik Vučević added 16 points and eight rebounds. Notably, coach Jacque Vaughn tabbed Victor Oladipo to run the point as the Magic made their comeback effort, and the rookie struggled, committing five of his game-high nine turnovers in his final 17-minute shift in Jameer Nelson's stead.

Miami's last time out: The Magic's rivals to the south topped the Atlanta Hawks, 104-88, on Tuesday behind 19 points from Chris Bosh and some timely buckets from Mario Chalmers. The Heat point guard scored 12 of his 14 points in the third quarter to push Miami's lead from three at halftime to nine at its conclusion. The Heat converted 24 Atlanta turnovers into 22 points.

In 2012/13: The Heat swept the four-game season series between the teams, but the Magic didn't make it easy: Miami needed overtime to top Orlando on New Year's Eve, and on March 6th, a LeBron James layup with three seconds to play was the difference between victory and defeat.
