The Orlando Magic enter the fourth week of the season at 4-6, in seventh place in the East, and are on pace for around 33 wins for the season.
Here's a look at the three games the Magic play this week:
Wednesday, November 20th: Miami Heat at Magic, 7 PM Eastern, Fox Sports Florida
After a rather slow 4-3 start, the Heat have won three in a row and are 7-3 with the second best record in the East, along with the highest offensive rating in the NBA at 113.5. LeBron James has been his usual spectacular self, averaging 27.3 points per game on unreal 70.1 percent True Shooting. Forward Michael Beasley, who signed with the Heat as a free agent, has been extremely efficient, averaging 11.2 points per game in just 14.2 minutes per game on 64 percent True Shooting. Former Magic forward Rashard Lewis is averaging 5.9 points on 65.6 percent True Shooting.
Saturday, November 23rd: Magic at Heat, 7:30 PM Eastern, Fox Sports Florida
The Magic, losers of four in a row in Miami, have not won there since March of 2011.
Sunday, November 24th: Phoenix Suns at Magic, 6 PM Eastern, Fox Sports Florida
The Suns, widely expected to have one of the worst teams in the league, started a surprising 5-2 before losing two in a row, but are still above .500 at 5-4. Former Suns sharpshooter Jeff Hornacek is in his first season of coaching. The Suns have played good defense, as their defensive rating of 99.6 ranks fifth. Point guard Eric Bledsoe, acquired from the Los Angeles Clippers as part of a three-team trade, leads his new team in scoring at 20.4 points per game on outstanding 61.2 percent True Shooting.
