Based on some cosmetic changes to Amway Center, we already knew that the Orlando Magic planned to celebrate their 25th anniversary in style. The team announced Friday a more extensive plan for that celebration, revealing a list of 25 community events to take place in the 25 days leading up to their home opener on November 1st against the New Orleans Pelicans. The whole shebang is called "25 in 25," and you can read detailed plans for each event on the team's website.
The highlights of "25-in-25," which kicks of on October 7th, include the chance to have a Magic player deliver Papa John's pizza to your home (October 19th); an open house at Amway Center where fans "will have the opportunity to meet the entire Magic team, along with the Magic Dancers and STUFF" (October 12th); and "Rally Routes" in Kissimmee (October 8th), Tampa (October 13th), Lake Mary (October 16th), Melbourne (October 17th), and Windermere (October 22nd).
Again, full details on the Magic's "25-in-25" events are available on the team's website.
How will you celebrate the Magic's 25th anniversary?
