The Orlando Magic announced Thursday plans to honor former swingman Tracy McGrady, the franchise's third all-time leading scorer, during their 2013/14 home opener against the New Orleans Pelicans. That night marks the first of several "Legends Nights" during which the team will spotlight former players as it celebrates its 25th anniversary.

The Magic will recognize McGrady's achievements in a ceremony at center court. He will later join David Steele and Jeff Turner as a color commentator for part of that night's Fox Sports Florida telecast.

To gear up for the event, McGrady will be a guest on Magic Drive Time on Thursday, October 31st from 5:30-6:30 PM Eastern. The show, which Dante Marchitelli hosts, is available on 740 AM The Game in Orlando.

McGrady earned NBA All-Star honors in each of his four seasons with the Magic, during which time he also led the league in scoring twice. He announced his retirement from the NBA in August.
