The Orlando Magic visit the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday looking to prevent their losing streak from reaching 10 games. Tipoff is set for 9 PM Eastern on Fox Sports Florida in the Orlando market. The Orlando Pinstriped Post GameThread will appear at 7 PM in this StoryStream and on the cover.

Orlando's last time out: The Magic's losing streak reached eight after their overtime loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Monday. Rookie point guard Damian Lillard made several key plays in the extra period, including a steal leading to a breakaway dunk for J.J. Hickson which put Portland up six points.

Denver's last time out: The Nuggets picked up their second consecutive victory on Sunday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Dwight Howard blocked Andre Miller's layup attempt right into the hands of Danilo Gallinari, who drilled a three-pointer from the corner in front of L.A.'s bench to put Denver up by six with 14.3 seconds to play.

The last meeting: Orlando raced to a 58-37 halftime lead as it hosted Denver in the Magic's season opener and ultimately cruised to a 102-89 win. Glen Davis scored 29 points with 10 rebounds, while J.J. Redick added 21 points, four boards, and six assists off the bench. Gallinari scored 23 to lead Denver, which shot just 38.1 percent from the floor.
