The Orlando Magic have won just twice in their last 18 games, and the schedule does not ease up for them as they look to gain some momentum before the All-Star break. Orlando's next five games are on the road, where it owns a 6-13 record.
Before getting to the schedule, Orlando Pinstriped Post would like to recognize khlotsesh for winning last week's fan prediction contest. The victory is khlotsesh's third straight. Visit OPP on game days to enter the prediction contest.
The schedule for the coming week listed below. All times listed are Eastern.
Monday: Magic at Brooklyn Nets, 7:30 PM, Fox Sports Florida/NBA TV
Brooklyn can join the Toronto Raptors as Atlantic Division teams to sweep four games from the Magic in 2012/13. Orlando remains winless against Atlantic teams in 10 tries.
Wednesday: Magic at New York Knicks, 7:30 PM, Fox Sports Florida
Orlando's stay in the Big Apple continues against Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks, who are searching for consistency: New York hasn't strung together consecutive wins since January 13th and 17th.
Friday: Magic at Boston Celtics, 7:30 PM, Fox Sports Florida
Orlando makes its lone 2012/13 visit to Boston, which just learned that All-Star point guard Rajon Rondo will miss the entire season due to a torn right ACL. Magic big man Glen Davis wished his former teammate "a speedy recovery," adding that Rondo "does the game of basketball really, really well."
Saturday: Magic at Milwaukee Bucks, 8:30 PM, Fox Sports Florida
Rondo's injury could be a boon for the Bucks, who own a three-game advantage over the Celtics for the East's seventh playoff seed. Orlando has yet to play Milwaukee in 2012/13.
