Orlando Magic swingman Arron Afflalo did not play in the fourth quarter of his team's 104-102 loss to the Detroit Pistons on Sunday, but it wasn't a coach's decision. Magic coach Jacque Vaughn said after the game that Afflalo "experienced a slight left calf strain." Second-year guard E'Twaun Moore replaced Afflalo in Orlando's crunch-time lineup, scoring 12 of his career-high-tying 18 points in the fourth quarter as the Magic nearly rallied to victory.

"We'll see how he feels tomorrow," Vaughn said. "But that [the injury] was the major reason why I decided to go with E down the stretch.

The Magic will travel to Newark, New Jersey late Sunday night in order to play the Brooklyn Nets on Monday evening.

Afflalo finished Sunday's loss with four points in 26 minutes, shooting 2-of-7 from the floor with one rebound and four assists. He received treatment on the calf after the game and was not available to the media.

Afflalo is Orlando's leading scorer on the season, averaging 16.7 points. He and center Nikola Vucevic are the only Magic players to appear in all 43 of Orlando's games.
