The Orlando Magic will host the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday at Amway Center. Tipoff is set for 6 PM Eastern on Fox Sports Florida in the Orlando market. The Orlando Pinstriped Post GameThread will appear at 4 PM in this StoryStream and on the cover.

Orlando's last time out: The Magic added another strange loss to their collection of them for 2012/13, losing at home to a Charlotte Bobcats squad which had dropped 24 of its previous 26 games. Kemba Walker scored 25 for the Bobcats, who won thanks in part to their 38-21 advantage in free-throw attempts. Arron Afflalo and Jameer Nelson combined for 45 points for the Magic.

Dallas' last time out: The Mavs' four-game winning streak ended Friday in overtime as they fell to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 117-114. Kevin Durant shot 21-of-21 from the foul line en route to a 52-point outing, while Russell Westbrook scored 31 of his own. Former Magic swingman Vince Carter led six Dallas players in double-figure scoring, posting 29 points off the bench.

The last meeting: Dallas and Orlando have yet to play in the 2012/13 season. In their lone matchup in 2011/12, Dallas prevailed by a 100-98 final as Dirk Nowitzki drilled a short jumper against the strong defense of Hedo Türkoğlu with 5.9 seconds to go. Türkoğlu missed a three-pointer on Orlando's ensuing possession, and Ryan Anderson's tip-in came up short. Dallas entered the fourth period facing a seven-point deficit.
