The Orlando Magic picked up their second victory in three games on Wednesday in a 97-86 win against the Indiana Pacers at Amway Center. The Pacers, playing their fourth game in five nights, fell behind by five points after the first period and never seriously challenged Orlando thereafter.
Indiana owns the league's best defense, but the Magic picked it apart Wednesday with crisp ball movement and hot outside shooting. Orlando shot 12-of-21 from three-point distance, with J.J. Redick and Jameer Nelson each going 4-of-6 on triples.

Magic | 90.5 | 107.2 | 53.5% | 5.8 | 20.0 | 13.3 |
Green denotes a stat better than the team's 2012/13 average; red denotes a stat worse than the team's 2012/13 average. |
For the first time since December 19th--not coincidentally, the night Glen Davis suffered a sprained shoulder which would keep him out of the Magic's next 11 games--Orlando limited its opponent to less than one point per possession. The Pacers are an anemic offensive team, ranking second-worst in the league, but for a defense that defended at league-worst levels without Davis, Wednesday's performance at that end is a solid step toward returning to respectability.
