Glen Davis made his return to game action for the Orlando Magic in Monday's game against the Washington Wizards. Davis, during whose absence to recover from a sprained left shoulder Orlando lost 10 of 11, came off the bench in relief of Andrew Nicholson at the 5:35 mark of the first quarter.
The Wizards went right at Davis, isolating Kevin Séraphin against him on their first offensive possession after Davis checked in. Seraphin scored on a hook from the baseline, but Davis made his presence felt in other ways later.
The LSU product popped to the right elbow and sank his first shot attempt two minutes later, and then took a charge against Wizards forward Martell Webster on the Wizards' next trip down the floor.
All told, Davis had six points and two rebounds in his 5:15 stint.
