Veteran swingman Grant Hill will make his season début for the Los Angeles Clippers when L.A. hosts the Orlando Magic on Saturday afternoon, coach Vinny Del Negro said, according to Isaac Lowenkron of Fox Sports Radio.

Hill, who signed with the Clippers in the offseason following a five-year stay with the Phoenix Suns, had missed the entire 2012/13 season to date due to a bone bruise in his right knee. In his absence, L.A. has used Caron Butler and Matt Barnes at small forward.

In his most recent season, Hill averaged 10.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in 28.1 minutes per game.

Hill, a seven-time All-Star, spent seven seasons with the Magic, though he missed the entire 2003/04 season due to myriad injuries. While in Orlando, he averaged 16.4 points, five boards, 3.1 assists, and 1.1 steals.
