Earlier in September, we proudly offered our readers a look at the new Orlando Pinstriped Post logo which will go live when SB Nation United launches in the very near future.
SB Nation United is indeed coming soon, and while we've been asked not to disclose a specific date, I wanted to forewarn you that the changes will be dramatic: United is not merely a new coat of paint, but rather an entirely new way of looking at SB Nation sites. In this way, SB Nation United is not unlike the Orlando Magic squad you'll see in the coming season.
Pictured above is one of the new "cover" layouts available in SB Nation United. As you can see, it's quite a departure from the typical reverse-chronological site organization to which you've become accustomed at Orlando Pinstriped Post and around SB Nation.
After the jump, some notes on SB Nation United, and a few more screenshots.
SB Nation United will make sites around the network load more quickly and run more smoothly overall.
SB Nation United's flexible layouts--here's an example distinct from the one pictured atop this post--will enable site editors to tailor the presentation of content to reader interest. They also reduce clutter.
SB Nation United will offer readers a seamless experience no matter where they're browsing on their computer, tablet, or mobile phone.
SB Nation United will still have the great features to which you've grown accustomed, namely GameThreads, FanPosts, and FanShots.
As the screenshots demonstrate, SB Nation United will look and feel different; here's a top-to-bottom view of NetsDaily in United, for example. You may need some time to adjust to it. But the change is coming nonetheless, and it's going to be fantastic.
