The Orlando Magic will open their 2012/13 preseason schedule against the New Orleans Hornets in Mexico City, the team announced Wednesday, with their first home game set for October 11th against the Philadelphia 76ers. Orlando will face the Hornets, Sixers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Detroit Pistons, Indiana Pacers, San Antonio Spurs, Memphis Grizzlies, and Houston Rockets in its eight-game preseason slate.
In addition to their game in Mexico City, the Magic will play another neutral-site game against the Cavaliers in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 15th. They'll then head to the Motor City for a game against the Pistons the following day.
Fox Sports Florida will broadcast all of Orlando's home preseason games in high definition. Training camp begins October 1st, and the regular season opens November 2nd with a home game against the Denver Nuggets.
