The Boston Celtics can advance to their third NBA Finals in the last five seasons Thursday when they host the Miami Heat in Game Six of the 2012 Eastern Conference Finals at TD Garden. After falling into an 0-2 hole against Miami, which finished the regular season with the East's best record, the Celtics have rallied to win three straight games, including each of the last two by a combined six points. Paul Pierce drilled a key three-pointer over LeBron James with just 52 seconds remaining to put his Boston team up four points.
The Celtics are 8-1 at TD Garden this postseason and have won four straight. In his career, James is 0-4 on the road in games in which his team faces elimination.
Tipoff between Boston and Miami is set for 8:30 on ESPN.
