The Orlando Magic have fired Adonal Foyle, their Director of Player Development, as new General Manager Rob Henningan continues to remake the front office. Foyle, who retired with the Magic after a 12-year playing career, announced the move via his Twitter account.

Foyle's dismissal is the eighth Hennigan has made in less then 24 hours: he fired assistant GM Dave Twardzik and six scouts on Sunday. Beginning with Bob Vander Weide's abrupt resignation as CEO in December, 17 members of Orlando's front office and coaching staff are no longer with the team.

According to the Magic's media guide, Foyle "provides support for the overall development of the players, act [sic] as a conduit between players and management, and give [sic] assistance to the basketball operations department" in his role as Director of Player Development. He had been in that role for two years.
