The Orlando Magic announced Tuesday they will celebrate the NBA's Noche Latina by wearing new jerseys reading El Magic across the chest for three home games in March, beginning Thursday in a nationally televised matchup against the Oklahoma City Thunder. In addition to wearing the Noche Latina jerseys Thursday, the Magic will also wear them March 19th against the Chicago Bulls and March 21st against the Phoenix Suns.

The team says El Magic jerseys, hats, and t-shirts will be available at OrlandoMagicShop.com, its official online retailer.

Orlando joins the Bulls, Los Angeles Lakers, Miami Heat, New York Knicks, Suns, and San Antonio Spurs among teams celebrating Noche Latina, now in its sixth season.

"We want our entire fan base to know we value them," Magic CEO Alex Martins said. "We want to show our appreciation for their support and dedication, and this is just one way to do that." Under Martins' direction in 2008, the Magic began "a multicultural insights focus" in order to accomplish the team's goal of making "an inclusive environment in which community partners, fans and employees feel welcome, valued and appreciated.
