Few plays in basketball take my breath away more than when a player drives through some defenders, and then rises up over another one for a monstrous jam: there's a certain level of grace, of elegance, in such moves that appeals to me more than, say, plays wherein a player straight-up dunks on someone.
Mike Prada of SBNation.com has compiled five instances of Jordan Brand athletes Dwyane Wade, Gerald Wallace, and Carmelo Anthony performing these graceful Fly Over plays. We're asking our readers to vote for which of the five plays best exemplifies the phrase "Fly Over." Is it Wade throwing down on Kendrick Perkins, the 2006 Dallas Mavericks, or Emeka Okafor? A Sacramento Kings-era Wallace mashing on Bostjan Nachbar? Carmelo Anthony elevating over the Boston Celtics' defense?
Pick your favorite today and make yourself heard, and stay tuned to the SB Nation NBA page for the next round of highlights. In case you missed it, here's last weeks' look at the top Fly Through plays.
