Andrew Bynum to get injection in right knee Friday

Andrew Bynum did not seek any postgame treatment for his problematic right knee despite some discomfort in the final moments of the Lakers’ loss Thursday night in Oklahoma City. Bynum had previously been scheduled to receive a Synvisc injection from his personal doctor, David Altchek, in Port St. Lucie, Fla., on Friday. The company’s website promotes "up to six months of osteoarthritis knee pain relief with a single injection."
