During NBA All-Star Weekend 2012, several of Jordan Brand's top athletes will appear at Footaction in Florida Mall to launch the Air Jordan 2012 sneaker. The NBA stars will interact with fans and participate in a Q-and-A session. Los Angeles Clippers point guard Chris Paul opened the festivities with an appearance Thursday afternoon, which included a Q-and-A hosted by Jadakiss, but two other athletes are due to appear as the weekend continues.
Miami Heat superstar Dwyane Wade is slated to arrive Friday at 5:15. DJ Khaled will conduct the Q-and-A with the eight-time All-Star and former NBA Finals MVP.
Saturday, New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony will appear at the Florida Mall Footaction, with DJ Khaled scheduled to host the Q-and-A once again.
Jordan Brand describes the Air Jordan 2012 "as one of the most advanced performance shoes Jordan Brand has ever produced," as it features interchangeable inner sleeves and interchangeable midsoles to allow wearers to customize the shoe's performance.
The Jordan Brand athletes aren't the only ones appearing around town during All-Star Weekend. Jeremy Lin, Russell Westbrook, Derrick Williams, and Derrick Rose are due to appear at the Foot Locker Fan Jam, also at Florida Mall, while Dwight Howard will make two appearances as well: one at the adidas Store at Florida Premium Outlets and another at the Champs Sports in Florida Mall.
