Among the festivities in Orlando for NBA All-Star Weekend 2012: the Foot Locker Fan Jam at Florida Mall, which runs from 10 AM-9 PM this Thursday-Saturday, and from noon-6 this Sunday. The Fan Jam will feature appearances from the Orlando Magic Flight Crew and NBA stars, as well as games of 3-of-3, HORSE, giveaways, and licensed NBA merchandise.
Boston Celtics swingman Paul Pierce, making his 10th All-Star appearance this season, will appear at the Fan Jam on Thursday from 5-6.
Russell Westbrook of the Oklahoma City Thunder is set to appear at the Fan Jam on Friday from 4:45-5:45. The league's coaches named the hyperathletic point guard an All-Star for the second consecutive season.
New York Knicks sensation Jeremy Lin and Minnesota Timberwolves rookie Derrick Williams, an entrant in the 2012 Sprite Slam Dunk Contest, are due to appear at Fan Jam this Saturday. Lin will be there from noon-1, while Williams will be there from 2-3.
Finally, Derrick Rose, the league's reigning MVP and a three-time All-Star, will cap the weekend's slate of Fan Jam appearances on Sunday from 12:15-1:15.
The Flight Crew is set to appear at the Fan Jam on Thursday and Friday from 3:46-6 and on Saturday and Sunday from 11:45-2. The Chicago Bulls' franchise cornerstone is on hand to promote the adizero Rose 2.5, his latest and lightest signature shoe from adidas.
