adidas released the adiPower Howard 2.0, the newest signature sneaker for Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard, on Thursday. Available at Foot Locker, Eastbay.com, and shopadidas.com, the shoe has a suggested retail price of $100.

The brand with three stripes touts the adiPower Howard 2.0 as Howard's lightest shoe yet. It also features the ALIVE cushioning system.

A shattered glass graphic adorns the shoe, representing the superstar's strength, power, and history of punishing backboards. Other personal touches include Howard's dh logo, which is based on the Superman shield, as well as Howard's signature on the heel.

Though Howard is set to wear the adiPower Howard 2.0 for the second half of the 2011/12 NBA season, he won't wear it in the 2012 NBA All-Star Game. In that contest, he'll don a special orange colorway of the original adiPower Howard model. The All-Star colorway goes on sale February 23rd at the above-mentioned retailers with a suggested price of $110.

adidas encourages its fans to review the adiPower Howard 2.0 on the official adidas basketball Facebook page.
