The Orlando Magic host the Miami Heat in their final game of 2012. Tipoff is set for 5 PM Eastern on Fox Sports Florida in the Orlando market. The Orlando Pinstriped Post GameThread will appear at 3 PM in this StoryStream and on the cover.

Orlando's last time out: The Magic fell by 35 points at home to the Toronto Raptors, a surefire lottery team, by giving up 15 three-pointers in 27 attempts. The defense was abysmal everywhere, not just at the three-point line, as the Raptors shot 56.4 percent inside the arc. Magic forward Hedo Turkoglu returned from a 28-game absence, but Jameer Nelson and E'Twaun Moore both sat with injury, leaving Orlando with only Ish Smith at point guard.

Toronto's last time out: Miami dropped its second straight road game on Saturday, falling by a 104-85 margin to the Milwaukee Bucks. Five Bucks scored at least 14 points, and Milwaukee finished with only five turnovers.

The last meeting: This meeting is the first between the teams of the new season. Miami and Orlando split the four games in the lockout-shortened 2011/12 campaign.
