The Orlando Magic host the New Orleans Hornets on Wednesday in their first game since Christmas. Tipoff is set for 7 PM Eastern on Fox Sports Florida in the Orlando market. The Orlando Pinstriped Post GameThread will appear at 5 PM in this StoryStream and on the cover.

Orlando's last time out: The Magic dropped their last game Sunday, 97-93, as the Utah Jazz rallied past them in the fourth quarter. Jamaal Tinsley and Randy Foye hit consecutive backbreaking three-pointers as Orlando lost its second straight game following a four-game winning streak. Arron Afflalo led four Magic players in double-figure scoring, pouring in 20 points.

New Orleans' last time out: New Orleans looked primed to end its 10-game losing streak Saturday as it took a 17-point lead into the locker room at halftime, only to score seven points in the third quarter as the Indiana Pacers tied the score heading into the fourth. Indiana would prevail, 81-75, despite 24 points from Robin Lopez.

The last meeting: Wednesday's marks the first meeting between Orlando and New Orleans since the 2011/12 season. The Hornets routed the Magic, 93-67, in their lone matchup that year. Dwight Howard was the only Magic player to score more than nine points in that defeat.
