The Orlando Magic look to avoid their third straight loss of the season Friday night when they host the Brooklyn Nets at Amway Center. Tipoff is set for 7 PM Eastern on Fox Sports Florida in the Orlando market. The Orlando Pinstriped Post GameThread will appear at 5 PM Eastern on the cover and in this StoryStream.

In its last outing, Orlando suffered its biggest defeat of the young season, falling by a 90-75 margin to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night. Rookie forward Maurice Harkless made his NBA début in the loss and provided the Magic's only real bright spot, contributing five rebounds, three steals, and two blocked shots in his 22 minutes.

The Nets are coming off a 30-point drubbing against the Miami Heat, also on Wednesday, which loss dropped them to 1-2 on the season. All-Star swingman Joe Johnson shot 4-of-14 for nine points in the loss, during which the Heat shot 51.9 percent from the field.
