The Orlando Magic dropped their fourth consecutive game Sunday afternoon, falling by a 82-74 final to the Brooklyn Nets at Barclays Center. The Magic fell behind by 18 points at the end of the first period and managed to fight their way back over the final three, but simply could not overcome their own slow start.

The Magic took reasonably good care of the ball, but otherwise failed in every other facet of the game. Brooklyn's control of the boards was once again key: the Nets held a 55-41 edge on the glass overall, but also grabbed 27.9 percent of their own misses. That work helped them to 15 second-chance points to Orlando's eight. Kris Humphries stood out in particular in this area, snaring six offensive rebounds en route to a game-high 21 boards.
