The Orlando Magic conclude their 2012 preseason slate with a game against Casselberry native Chandler Parsons and his Houston Rockets on Friday. The Magic's hopes at a .500 preseason slipped away Wednesday against the Memphis Grizzlies, who dropped them to 2-5, so their only goal for Friday is to stay healthy, according to coach Jacque Vaughn.
Despite pessimistic expectations for the year ahead, Houston has gone 4-2 in preseason play.
Tipoff between Houston and Orlando is set for 7 PM Eastern on Fox Sports Florida in the Orlando market. The Magic's regular season begins precisely one week later against the Denver Nuggets.
