Orlando Magic to Host Free Open Practice on Monday, October 29th

The Magic have invited their fans to an open practice at Amway Center this Monday. Admission is free, with concessions available starting at $5.

The Orlando Magic will hold a free, open practice this Monday, October 29th, at Amway Center. Doors open at 6:30, with the program beginning at 6:45 and the practice scheduled to start at 7. Fans are invited to watch the team, Stuff the Magic Mascot, and the Magic Dancers perform in this event.

UPDATE (this paragraph only): The GEICO Garage will offer free parking for Monday's event, according to a Magic spokesperson. Parking at other lots and garages around Amway Center will be at regular price.

Admission to the practice is completely free. Concessions will be available for purchase: $5 gets you a hot dog, an order of popcorn, and a soda, while $7 gets you a basket of chicken tenders, an order of popcorn, and a soda.

In addition, the Orlando Magic Team Shop will offer special discounts throughout the night. The team will offer specially priced ticket packages during the open practice as well.

The Magic will also collect donations of candy for Operation Gratitude Orlando during the open practice. "Operation Gratitude Orlando," according to the team's press release, "is a program designed to collect care packages and candy for American servicemen and women who are currently deployed in the hostile and remote regions of Iraq and Afghanistan."
