After an 0-4 start to their exhibition season, the Orlando Magic have rebounded to win two straight games. They can creep one step closer to .500 on Wednesday with a victory against the Memphis Grizzlies at FedExForum.
Rookie forward Andrew Nicholson scored 18 points in 18 minutes off the bench Sunday as Orlando topped the San Antonio Spurs, 104-100. Glen Davis added 17 points and four rebounds. The performance was another in a string of strong ones for Orlando's starting power forward, who's now averaging 18.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game in only 26 minutes on the preseason.
Despite 15 points from Zach Randolph, Memphis dropped to 3-3 in exhibition action on Saturday in an 83-80 loss to the Indiana Pacers. The Grizzlies shot just 37 percent from the field and limited Indy to 36.1 percent shooting, but the Pacers' 52-40 edge on the glass helped them to the win.
Tipoff between Orlando and Memphis is set for 8 Eastern.
