Magic vs. Pacers: Arron Afflalo, Christian Eyenga Listed as "Doubtful," According to Report

Orlando has listed the pair of swingmen as "doubtful" for Friday's tilt against Indy due to nagging hamstring strains for each.

Barring a last-minute change of plans, the Orlando Magic will take on the Indiana Pacers on Friday without the services of swingmen Arron Afflalo and Christian Eyenga, who are both nursing strained hamstrings, reports Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel. As John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com notes, Afflalo returned to the practice floor Thursday, but isn't quite ready to play at game speed just yet.

Afflalo, 27, came to the Magic in August's Dwight Howard trade. He's coming off a season wherein he posted a career-best scoring average of 15.2 points. Basketball Prospectus' SCHOENE system projects him to be Orlando's most productive player in 2012/13.

The 23-year-old Eyenga also came to Orlando in the Howard trade. He's among the six players battling for the 15th and final spot on the Magic's opening-day roster. His lack of productivity through two NBA seasons, coupled with the unfortunate timing of his injury, mean he may never suit up for the Magic.
