Orlando Magic power forward Glen Davis told Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel he planned to release a single entitled "Big Baby Gon' Turn It Up" in the coming days.

The Magic posted the song, which clocks in at two minutes and 55 seconds, on their website Wednesday evening, and it didn't disappoint.

"I'm turned up," a heavily autotuned Davis says after some heavy beats on the track. "Got Goose and cran in my cup. I'm with my boys and all my ladies know what's up. Oh yeah, I'm ready."

He may have been ready, but one suspects he might have caught Magic fans off guard with this track. "Big Baby gon' turn it up," the LSU product repeats eight times in the chorus.

Davis is just the latest Magic big man to dip into music. Dwight Howard released an album of children's songs in 2011, while Ryan Anderson teamed with J.J. Redick to dupe the media into thinking they were making a rap album in 2010. Brandon Bass, whom Orlando sent to the Boston Celtics in exchange for Davis, dabbles in music in his spare time, though he does not release his songs publicly. And, of course, Shaquille O'Neal released the albums Shaq Diesel and Shaq Fu: Da Return during his Magic career.
