With an assist from the Orlando-based restaurant Tijuana Flats, the Orlando Magic will help satiate their fans' appetites in 2012/13 thanks to the Three-Point Hot Shot promotion. Fans in attendance at Magic home games wherein Orlando makes at least 10 three-point baskets can redeem their ticket stub or seat finder at participating Tijuana Flats locations the following day for one free taco.
The 2012/13 season marks the third consecutive campaign in which Orlando and Tijuana Flats have teamed up for this promotion. Orlando won the first-ever NBA Team Sponsorship Activation Award in 2012 for its implementation of the Three-Point Hot Shot deal, meaning it's officially the league's best promotion.
Orlando hit 10-plus three-pointers in 17 of its 33 home games in 2011/12. Whether the team will be as successful from long range after losing Ryan Anderson and Jason Richardson, who ranked first and third, respectively, in three-point baskets, remains to be seen.
