The best word to sum up the Orlando Magic's home loss to the Indiana Pacers on Friday: ugly.
Nothing went right for the Magic, offensively or defensively.
Officials whistled both teams for a combined 41 personal fouls. They also called five for technical fouls; both Arron Afflalo and Paul George were whistled for double-technical fouls as they tangled up in at the 8:53 mark of the first quarter.
But the early tussle with Afflalo didn't stop George from pouring in a game-high 25 points while knocking down four treys.
Magic point guard Jameer Nelson joined the party with a technical foul at the 29-second mark of the third quarter as he threw the ball over the head of a referee.
The Pacers whomped the Magic for 66 points in the second and third quarters alone.
Magic coach Jacque Vaughn also started Tobias Harris ahead of Andrew Nicholson at power forward. In his first start for the Magic, Harris shot just 2-of-8 for seven points, but he did tally a game-high eight rebounds.
Orlando will host the Philadelphia 76ers this Sunday at 6 p.m.
