Apparently Dwight's been eligible for an extension since July 12. How was he not aware of this?

I wondered about that

When Dwight said he couldn’t sign an extension yet. I knew about the three year rule, but I didn’t know if it was effected by the signing date of an extension, or the year the extension took effect.

Maybe the Magic should have a word with his agent…
