Tonight's Orlando Magic Game: at Indiana Pacers

The Orlando Magic can rebound from a surprising defeat in their last outing with a win against the struggling Indiana Pacers this evening at Conseco Fieldhouse. The Pacers, who jumped out to an encouraging 11-10 start, have lost 15 of their last 20 games, including 5 in a row. Theirs is a complicated situation, as firing coach Jim O'Brien probably wouldn't solve anything. Team President Larry Bird, in the final year of his contract, wants to make a splash before he departs with a big trade.

If Indiana is to pull off the upset tonight, center Roy Hibbert must outduel the Magic's Dwight Howard. Kelly Dwyer explains what's wrong with the third-year big man at Ball Don't Lie. Hibbert's had some good games against Howard in the past, and knows how to attack him at the offensive end.

Against Howard's Magic, O'Brien tries to muck up the game with fouling, either by trying to saddle Orlando's center with fouls himself, or sending him to the free-throw line intentionally. Be prepared for an ugly game tonight, especially if the Pacers' Danny Granger gets hot. Should the Magic prove unable to guard him, they'll be in for a long night.
