A recently released clip of the new videogame NBA 2K11 may give away what the Orlando Magic's court at the new Amway Center will look like. The clip, which I found via the NBA Off-season tumblr account, depicts the Magic taking on the Denver Nuggets at the Amway Center. Naturally, Carmelo Anthony, whom Ken Berger has linked to Orlando, is still a Nugget in the clip.
If the videogame version is accurate, the new court features parquet floors, as the Amway Arena court did. In fact, not much has changed: the Magic's partial trailing basketball logo maintains the same position, as do the arena wordmarks. The biggest changes are the team's new primary logo taking its natural place at center court, and the Orlando Magic wordmarks on the endlines shifting from white text with a blue outline to all-blue.
The Amway Center opens its doors on October 10th, 2010 when the Magic host the New Orleans Hornets in an exhibition game. The Magic announced that tickets for all preseason games will go on sale this Thursday.
