    Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel says Orlando Magic free-agent forward Matt Barnes is nearing a deal with his new team, and could announce it soon. According to Robbins, Barnes' representatives have denied that the Magic ever offered him a deal, as's John Denton wrote earlier this week.
