The Atlanta Hawks used the strength of a 29-11 third quarter to take Game 6 of their playoff series against the Milwaukee Bucks, 83-69, setting the stage for the decisive Game 7 in Atlanta this Sunday. The Orlando Magic will begin their second-round series against the Game 7 winner on Tuesday at the earliest, which means they will have had at least 8 days off since closing out the Charlotte Bobcats in a four-game sweep.
As Eddy explained here, the Magic tend to play well when they have a lot of rest.
Orlando won the season series against both teams, taking 3 of 4 from Atlanta and sweeping all 3 games from the Bucks.
Tickets for the second round, priced starting at $18, are available at www.orlandomagic.com, the Amway Arena box office, the Orlando Magic ticket office at RDV SportsPlex (Monday through Friday), and at Ticketmaster outlets. Note that Ticketmaster outlets accept cash only.
