“The work of science is to substitute facts for appearances and demonstrations for impressions.”

Okay, a simple "wrong" would've done just fine.

Wonder if all the C's fans talking smack yesterday know about this.

Probably not, I’m guessing, they seemed to think other teams exist to give the Celtics sparring partners on their way to their rightful championships every year. I mean, one guy talked about Orlando not being known as a defensive team. ?? Um, hello? Two-time DPOY? Top ten fg% defense last three seasons, including #1 last year? It’s like they’re Yankees fans or something, they sound so entitled. I’ll skip the irony of C’s fans referring to the Magic as dirty…

I wish I could have watched #14.

Rondo did not play last game, and the early games he was just learning how to play with the big three, and don’t forget Pierce has had issues requiring wheelchairs and stuff and yada, yada, yada.

Okay, a simple "wrong" would've done just fine.

Also, the refs were unfair to Boston

They only called 85% of the flops. If they’d call them all like they were supposed to the Celtics would be undefeated (again).

I hope the Magic got some name tags in one of these trades

My belief

Is that Boston views us more of their rivals in the East than any other team but won’t say it do to the fact that we have a winning record against them and we also viewed Cleveland, BLL, as our biggest rivals. On top of just destroying them in Game 7 two years ago in their building. These have been the best franchises in the East for the last three years. Including the Cavs.

No, no, the Magic are a much younger team than the Celtics.

And after last year’s Finals, the Lakers have to be seen as serious competition as well. So that’s really two teams, only one of which are the Celtics’ age.

You may also want to watch out for whoever LBJ plays for, too, the league loves having him in the playoffs.
