The Orlando Magic are expected to announce a trade today, Orlando Pinstriped Post has learned through a reliable source, though details about which players might be headed where are still sketchy, as the Magic have conversations going on with multiple teams, including the Denver Nuggets, Phoenix Suns, Portland Trail Blazers, and Washington Wizards. However, the source said not to be surprised if Quentin Richardson, the veteran swingman Orlando signed to a four-year contract this summer, is among the players changing addresses in the very near future.
Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports reports that Orlando's deal with Phoenix, which could entail exchanging Vince Carter and Marcin Gortat for Hedo Turkoglu, is "closer" and a "prelude" to a second deal with the Wizards. In that second trade, Orlando would send Rashard Lewis to Washington for Gilbert Arenas.
It's still unknown how Richardson fits into this latest rumor update; again, all I have learned from my source is Richardson could indeed be on the move.
