Thanks to NBA TV Fan Night voting, the Orlando Magic's first game in their new black alternate uniforms will reach a national television audience. Indeed, the NBA announced fans selected this Tuesday's game between the Magic and Denver Nuggets, in Denver's Pepsi Center, for Fan Night. It'll air on NBA TV at 9 PM, with host Ernie Johnson joining analysts Chris Webber and Kevin McHale for pre-game coverage at 8 PM.
Fan Night allows NBA fans to select one game per week, via online vote at www.nba.com/fannight, for NBA TV to broadcast nationally. Tuesday's game marks the first occasion this season when fans have voted a Magic game, but this one was a landslide win for Orlando; 82 percent of the poll respondents selected the Magic/Nuggets contest this week.
Orlando split the season series with Denver last season as each team defended its home court.
With enough support, Orlando can make two straight Fan Night appearances, as their game against the Dallas Mavericks on December 21st is eligible the following week. Voting for that game opens December 14th at 8 AM and closes on December 16th at midnight. Again, fans can cast their ballots at www.nba.com/fannight.
