Tonight, the Orlando Magic play their final home game until they start to count in the standings when they host the Dallas Mavericks at Amway Center. Mavs coach Rick Carlisle is impressed with the Magic's unblemished preseason record, and rightfully so. He says he'll "continue to look at some different stuff and different lineups," which is what the Magic appear to be finished doing. Orlando will likely only play 11 guys tonight, with non-guaranteed players Malik Allen and Stanley Robinson to sit unless needed. It's a clear sign that coach Stan Van Gundy wants to give his core players extended minutes, like they'll see in the regular season. But if this game gets out of hand, like the rest of Orlando's exhibitions have, Van Gundy will simply have to wait another day.
