It's time for another installment in our regular T-Mobile Player of the Week feature. Progress was the theme for the Orlando Magic last week, as the team was able to win 3 of its 4 games and stay within striking distance of the Boston Celtics and the Atlanta Hawks in a battle for the #2 seed in the Eastern Conference. No thanks in large part to the efforts of Dwight Howard, whose performance last week garnered him this award

Howard blocked shots, grabbed rebounds, scored points, and seemingly did everything he could to help spark a three-game winning streak for the Magic heading into tonight's game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Perhaps what is most impressive, aside from his gaudy stat totals, is the fact that Howard is heeding general manager Otis Smith's advice and taking a more business-like approach when he plays: "He wants me to show the other guys you can't play around [sic] and win. Be business-like."
