It's time now to announce the winners of our latest T-Mobile Trivia Challenge. The two winners will each receive two tickets to the Orlando Magic's game against the Sacramento Kings on Friday, January 22nd.
Everyone who responded correctly to the trivia question had his or her name entered into a random drawing. Here's the question we asked:
On January 14th, 2009, the Magic set a single-game NBA record for three-pointers made by sinking 23 treys against the Kings. How many three-pointers did the Magic make in their first game against the Kings in franchise history?
The correct answer is 0, per basketball-reference.com. Reggie Theus, a former King, missed the Magic's lone three-pointer in the game. Orlando didn't make a three-pointer against Sacramento until its second season, shooting 5-of-11 from long range in a 117-108 loss. Thanks to everyone who answered.
Our winners are jonathan.rivera84 and CubFanRaysaddict. Congratulations. We've already gotten in touch with them, but thought we'd share the good news with the community.
We'll have more opportunities to win Magic tickets very soon, and with a new, more challenging format.
