The Orlando Magic will try to win their 7th game in 7 preseason tries tonight when they host the struggling, banged-up (see below) Indiana Pacers. Wait, scratch that first bit: the Magic are much more concerned with simply playing better than they are with padding their preseason stats, as Tania Ganguli wrote in today's Orlando Sentinel.
Eddy will cover the game live from Amway Arena tonight.
Josh Robbins reports that Matt Barnes will start at power forward for the Magic tonight, but not to read too deeply into it, as Ryan Anderson and Brandon Bass are more likely to start at that position once the regular season starts.
The Pacers have five players out this evening: Travis Diener, Mike Dunleavy, T.J. Ford, Jeff Foster, and Tyler Hansbrough are all likely to sit tonight with various ailments, reports Mike Wells of the Indianapolis Star.
