Both teams in tonight's preseason matchup between the Orlando Magic and the New Orleans Hornets will be away from home, as they'll play in Wichita, Kansas, as part of Wichita Sports Week. Some local fans will attend the game for free, as police officers pulled over safe motorists to give them tickets as a reward. Thing is, it may be preseason, but the game should be a good one. The teams have five All-Stars between them, which makes the matchup compelling for anyone, but especially for people who live in a city with no major-league sports presence.
Doesn't look like this one's televised, but if you're in the Orlando area, you can tune your radio to AM 580 WDBO to hear Dennis Neumann and Richie Adubato call the game. Hopefully they'll have good things to report, like the Magic kept the turnovers down and the defensive intensity up.
UPDATE: the Orlando Sentinel reports that J.J. Redick and Matt Barnes will rest tonight. I've listed Mickael Pietrus as a possible starter at small forward. Pietrus, Vince Carter, and Rashard Lewis figure to spend time at the position tonight, with Lewis' presence there potentially leaving more minutes for Ryan Anderson and Brandon Bass at power forward.
