Bradford Doolittle of Basketball Prospectus puts his finger on what makes Courtney Lee the guy he is in this week's Prospectus Hoops List:
Need defense? Call on Keith Bogans. Need to run the floor? Mickael Pietrus is your man. Want another spot-up shooter? There's J.J. Redick. Want a combination of all the above? Rookie Courtney Lee is coming along nicely. This is a really dangerous team.
The Magic have three specialists at shooting guard, each of whom can shoot the three, plus the wild-card Lee, who combines all the things the specialists do. He's like a Swiss Army Knife or something.

J.J. Redick has made 15 of his last 24 three-point attempts, so it's reassuring to know he's human and still makes mistakes. His latest blog entry notes that he forgot the number of his hotel room in San Antonio, which presented problems when he had to pay for dinner.

Rob Peterson of NBA.com's Eastern Conference Insider has this feature on the Magic, which includes some quotes from Otis Smith ("I'm not an expert") a rival scout. Thanks to funny80sguy for tipping it in the FanShots, which are, I'm happy to note, much more active lately.
