The curious case of Jason Williams
Jason Williams isn't interested in returning to the NBA right now, but even if he were, he must sit out the calendar year. The league imposed that sanction on him after he bailed on the L.A. Clippers one month after signing with them. If the Orlando Magic are looking for a backup point guard (and they should be), Williams probably isn't an option, although he is free to challenge the ban if he wants to.
