Orlando Magic News for November 11th: Keith Bogans Is Valuable in More Ways Than One

Links that I meant to post before the game yesterday, but failed to:

  • Keith Bogans is the Magic's best bench player, and their second-best trade asset, says Brian Schmitz. But that may not be saying much:

And there probably isn't a lot you're going to receive in return except another reserve at maybe another position.

Yes, Bogans could conceivably net us a quality big man, but he's also playing his tail off. Seriously, dude's the only one with a pulse. It's a Catch-22 of sorts, kinda like last year, when the Magic couldn't afford to part with Keyon Dooling.

  • The problem with Dwight Howard's free throw shooting isn't his weight-lifting or his size, but rather his form. Brian McCormick of Hoops Addict breaks it down.
  • SALT IN THE WOUND ALERT: J.A. Adande of ESPN.com wrote this feature article on former Magic forward Trevor Ariza, who is playing brilliantly for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Happy Veteran's Day.
