- Keyon Dooling is questionable for tonight's game with flu-like symptoms, reports Brian Schmitz of the Orlando Sentinel. Maurice Evans and J.J. Redick figure to see more playing time than usual if Keyon is unable to go.
- John Denton, on the road with the Magic, reports that FSN Florida and Bright House Networks have started a second round of negotiations. FSN, which is broadcasting 35 Magic games this season, wants Bright House to offer it for free to its Orlando subscribers, while Bright House wants the channel to be offered on a premium sports tier.
- A poster on Denton's board linked to this article in The Press-Enterprise, a Los Angeles newspaper, which states that Trevor Ariza specifically asked Otis Smith to trade him. Denton said he hadn't heard about it, but would ask Smith about it during tonight's game.
